Froch could take Andrade at home or setup a Nottingham fight vs. a domestic opponent.

I dont really give a **** if he said it a hundred times. He hasnt done it.

I can pretty much guarantee that this wont go to pursebids. Either the volontary negotiations makes he fight or it wont get made. At least thats how I see it.

And what do you base that on? What's the big premise behind this call?

Froch hasn't called him out on it. Bute is there for the taking.

See my first post. Froch has plenty of options if he doesnt get his way. Bute needs Froch. Not the other way around.

Drozzy how would you think Butes fans and general boxingfans would take it if Bute fights another lame clubfighter? Maybe the Bute fans still packs the arena, but Bute would be the laughingstock of the trade (still).

I got a feeling this is Bute's and Interbox's "behind the stage" response(in agreement with IBF) to Showtime refusal. But of course the haters are gonna give me **** for writing this cuz Bute would never.. ever... do something like this.

The correct term I think is never "ended" cuz Bute said the negotiations were in stand-by until he sorted the Showtime refusal out.

Let me get this straight. You're saying that this won't go to purse bid because Froch has plenty of other options? Because Bute needs Froch?

    Wow. Great thought process. :huh

Negotiations never stopped, and David Messier PR rep for Interbox is saying it's possible Bute agrees to go to Nottingham. Didn't you get the memo?

I said time and again that a Green or a Stevenson, or especially a Rodriguez or George, would be a media nightmare for Interbox. That I would be part of the riots around their main office.

This CAN go to purse bid because both have good drawing power, and both have good reasons to want the fight at home.

I would imagine Froch would want to get back in the title picture as at 34 and with so many tough fights, he probably hasnt a long time left.
On the domestic front there is only Groves and DeGale and I doubt either would take the fight at this time and Groves has a fight booked anyway and isnt going to be rushed.
Andrade was beaten by Pryor Jnr recently and I dont know if that will be as a big a fight as Froch would want.
Thats why I was saying what real options does Froch have? Fighting Bute gives him a route back if he wins and time is not on his side

Yeah I'm surprised to, he doesn't... He's not the best available but Ward refused him.

This will tell us fo'sure how will a Ward-Bute fight would play out. I have a feeling that Bute is gonna win big and I mean wide UD against this fella... Which can or may not mean anything 2.

Imagine how stupid and how much of a hater you will look when Bute won't relinquishes his belt because Showtime won't let the fight happen.

Bute-Andrade II has gone to purse bid, Andrade and GBP have one the purse bid and they decided to fight in Montreal, Canada so everything is possible.

The Arena being sold out (around 16.000 thickets) in only one hour proved it was a good marketing idea.
