Rankings based on a panel's vote are always preferable to an alternative which is why the ring's are so popular.

Keep up the great work but I have a general question.

Do you take any consideration of whether or not a victory is deserved? For instance chisora v helenius; powell v spinks etc.

A victory being deserved is taken into factor.....but at the same time, a fighter that gets a win in the match that most feel he should of lost, does not mean the fighter that should of got the win gets ranked over him. Take Robert Helenius....he got a victory most feel he should not of got.....but he did not lose ranking.....same with Manny Pacquiao.....many people felt that Marquez deserved victory...yet both are ranked above the guys that most feel they lost to. Chisora and Marquez got a bump in ranking for the way they preformed. So, it gets taken into account, but we still have to recognize the official result

...sigh...After the last update I thought I would let it slide and only made a case for Oosthuizen. Really seems as though African boxers dont get their dues untill they go life and death or beat a champ. What made you guys decide to put Tony Bellew in and not Isaac Chilemba? Seriously, the only meaningful fight Tony had, he lost. If I honestly believed that Isaac could beat Silakh, I couldve made an argument that he has a better resume than Silakh, Campillo and Bellew(which he does have). Do you guys have any African judges on your panel? Or just bias Americans and Brits? Please, you only need to look as far back as these guys 4 last fights to realize Isaacs resumes far better...

Chilemba does not in any way shape or form beats Silakh.....Chilemba needed the aid of a head butt to even get past Edison Miranda.....that said, he did get a win in a close fight and have been on a streak.....due to all that he will get consideration on the next ratings meeting for a spot in the top 10.

The Ring, Dan Rafael and fightnews all put Bute ahead Froch and Kessler. In the same time you are the only one who put Anthony Direll in Top Ten and his brother in Top 5.What`s your problem? Some are Americans and some aren`t, right?

Yeah? what about Magee, Johnson and Bika? Aren`t they Top Ten according to The Ring?
Wasn`t Johnson semifinalist of Super Six after KO`ing Green?Doesn`t intend Ward to fight Magee who countinue to win after Bute? What`s the problem? Miranda and Bika and now Magee are good for Ward, Andrade is good for Kessler Johnson is good for Froch (and a judge givesa draw!) and neither of them is for Bute?

So The Ring ,figtnews and Dan Rafael all have to put their glasses but you definetely see the truth.

Wach your laguage.I suppose to talk some official of the biggest forum in boxing, right?
