Keep in mind though that you are going to be seeing a GSP who hasn't fought in over a year, and will be coming back after a devastating injury. A lot of people seem to think GSP is just going to pick right up where he left off. If ever there was a time where GSP could be vulnerable, it'll be his fight back, regardless of whether he fights Diaz or Condit.
He will be 100%...the guy is constantly training...the second he will have the green light from the doc he will be in the gym non stop until the day of the fight. If we were talking about anybody else I would be incline to agree with you...but the only thing the guy like to do is to train... !
GSP definitely has an advantage in that he is a fitness monster. No taking off for months and getting fat. He's working out right now.
I'm thinking about the stability of the knee as well. Will he ever be 100% again when it comes to that? Even a small decline in reflexes and mobility could make a big difference. ACL is a nasty injury, one that used to be a career ender.
You're right. It does seem like Dana is basically buying Diaz's fans a gift just to keep them quiet. But I don't know if it's necessarily a bad thing if Condit is actually getting paid a lot of money for the rematch. And even as a Condit fan I honestly would enjoy seeing GSP fight Diaz. All three guys are gonna end up fighting each other somehow. It's just a matter how soon that will happen.
Condit will win again in more impressive fashion, Diaz' footwork is sooooo slow it's like he has glue on his feet!
Cool. Rather them settle whatever score the fans think there is. Not sure it can sell as a main event.
you did say money wasnt a factor, i explained that money is the number 1 reason the rematch is taking place and this is what you replied you fool :-(
Rumours Diaz has pissed pot in his drug test. Diaz'd & Confused, thats why he took so many "hits from the cond' etc etc...
