Klitschkos had their chance in america and Wlads bunny in the headlights style put them off. America doesn't want to see some 6'7 giant feebly and timidly jab his fat 5'10 opponent for 12 rounds.

Vitali is even uglier a style but at least he doesn't look like he's about to **** himself in the ring like Wlad.

If Wlad had been an American it wouldn't have been a problem at all, history clearly tells you that. And the same thing goes for the Brits, look at Haye's HW titlefights for example.

Haye's title fights were woeful for sure. Audley Harrison for example. Lennox lewis was popular in America whether hey admit it or not the guys ppv records speak for themselves.

Maybe if it was Vitali instead of Wlad in that spot. You cant argue Wlads fight with Ibragimov was revolting to watch. Wlad has no one to challenge him. Not his fault but its not exactly entertaining.

People had to invent a challenger in Davis Haye.

I disagree. There is a price minimum the K2 demand. HBO doesn't want to guarantee a certain monetary amount for the K2 without having a certain level of control as to their choice of opponent. If guys like Fury and Potvetkin and Arreola would get **** or get off the pot already, HBO would be all over the K2. So instead, HBO wait for an opponent to be signed, then they decide if the opponent is worthy enough for their money.

Mormeck:D. He's done enough at HW to earn a ranking, but I think it's fair to say he's outta his league next month.
Chisora:roll:Hindsight is 20/20. HBO would be all over this if Chisora had won that EBU title vs a healthy Helenius. Instead they view it as a loss against a one armed fighter.....and now......he's getting Vitali. So, they put up 5 million bucks for a fight that ends similarly to Solis:think. It worked for Tyson....but he was a raging machine KOing guys int he first round. Vitali lands one temple shot, the contender is buckled, then his fat ass turns his knee. They aint risking 5 mil on that. Of course if Chisora is to somehow manage a KO win over Vitali.......they'll be biting themselves in the ass.:D

And still the Brit public loved him and kept believing in the next "fight will be better" crap
He wasn't, he was fighting Americans that had a chance to beat him. That explains the PVV records.
Maybe yeah... but look at what happened when Vitali got an opponent who was just there to survive (Safetypin Johnson), you can't do that the right way unless you're a Tyson type fighter.
When I said the same thing only one year ago, I was called a hater

Vitali made him his *****, schooled him and made him cry..

Mormeck is a shite fight. Whether he deserves it or not. Another opponent who has already lost before the first bell. Chisora is coming off two losses one to the british and commonwealth champ.

I can't think of many boxers who jump from being beaten for the british and commonwealth titles to a title fight in two fights its remarkable.

Both Klitschkos aren't helping their cause with these two fights.

And even the invented challenger seems to sell with HBO.

Anyone who is seen as a potential threat to the K2 are picked up by American TV.
It's simply because there are no potential threats seemingly willing to take the shot. If Arreola wins his next fight, then signs to fight Wlad before winter, it'll be on HBO.

I agree, but they want to stay busy, 3X/yr if able, and they simply go down the list with offers. They can't force guys like Nipples to step up....they can only make the calls.:-(

Klitschkos have been beating americans to a pulp for how many years now? Ivan Drago only loses in the movie, in real life Rocky gets destroyed.

Small wonder that hbo doesn't want K-bros to further embarrass American no-hoppers and will not show K-bro fights. I for one do not care, that's 60 bucks they lost.
