James Kirkland Pulls an Amir Khan (Ducks Ishida)

Also how many fighters bounce back like Kirkland did. Who loses like that and than comes back vs a big puncher like Angulo. Molina also has been a hard working man's type of a fighter. I love that he is getting a high profile fight. All he has been doing is beating down quality fighters.

Kirkland would have got knocked out if Perro wouldnt have thrown everything and the refrigerator at him and gassed out. I give Kirkland credit for getting up and finishing the fight strong; though it should be
noted that he has shown some serious weakness in the chin department.

Based on the fact that he was wobbled with a jab and dropped on his ass within thirty seconds of the opening bell, that's what. Stevie Wonder could see that Kirkland was having the **** beaten out of him and was on his way to being chumped in one round again when Angulo ran out of gas from throwing dozens of punches to his gloves while he was completely shelled up. Kirkland is a joke, a Glass Jawed Joke, and because of this he will be flat on his back and staring into a doctor's penlight sooner than you think. He has no Chin. None.

 

Im not one for the coulda woulda shoulda myself thats why i give him credit. But the simple fact remains that he Kirkland was knocked down and almost out after one punch. Only difference is Angulo did not know how to finish him unlike Ishida. Kirkland basically dodged a bullet, plain as day to almost everyone. I thought everyone but I guess not.

Kirks been knocked down pleanty of times(especially in 1st rounds), even against bums. BUT what does he do? he gets back up and gives out an ass whoopin afterwards. he wasnt even out against ishida and he was ready to keep going. i think it has more to do with his lack of defence more than his chin. im not saying he has a good chin but he still hasnt been out cold yet. there cant be any what ifs in fights. u either win or you lose. Kirkland is a beast. more of a beast than angulo with a REAL killer instinc. Canelo dont want none of dat

 

Kirkland has got some firepower offense, but his ability to take a punch really hurts his overall ability. Still a fun fighter to watch, we shall see.
