    How will he fair as a boxer? He certainly has the size(6 5 250) and the athletic talent. At 27 years old how do you think Brother Nazeem can shape him??? I wonder how long they will wait before his first fight.

    He's becoming a pro boxer?

    He's got the speed, power and will adjust his technique to become a good pro boxer, his ego and willingness to trade punches will be his downfall cause I don't think he's got the chin for it, should make for some exiting fights though.

    Beyond the cans? Not much.
    He has the talent but I think it is too late especially when he has developed instincts and habits from kick boxing.

    yes hes retired from kickboxing and is now working with brother nazeem in philly to become a boxer

    imagine if badr learned to fight off the jab and stopped getting in wild exchanges lol

    He is nice. He gets a little too focused on hurting and might get hurt because of it.

    I wonder whether the kickboxing experience is more beneficial or more of a hinderance when you switch to boxing.

    In todays heavyweight division he can make some waves no doubt about it!
    He has to work on a lot of things! but most important for him is to have patience and focus!

    He could be great for the sport of boxing in northern Africa and the netherlands. He is hugely popular. I think he has more likes on facebook than any boxer besides manny or floyd

    He has a pretty shaky chin though, not just to kicks either but to punches.
    On the up side he recovers really fast and fights like hell when hurt.

    Kickboxing background does not have to be bad i mean look at Vitali, Hari does not have that kind of ring IQ though.
    Hes only 27 they can take a few years to get him ready while fighting some cans.

    you think allot of fighters in boxing with granite chins could take the full force of a roundhouse kick. chin or no chin, you'll get ****ed either way

    if he can develop a tight defense and better ring iq he'll be a beast. ive seen him get rocked or even stopped in k-1 because he started swinging for the fences...
