The event would be great but at this point it's a huge mismatch.

  4. Everyone counted Morales out against Maidana, too. They said that Maidana was gonna put Erik in a coma.

I think it'll still be a Top Rank guy because he still wants
another crack at Manny in the fall. So maybe Alvarado.
If it was Rios that'd be great

Marquez vs Morales at Estadio Azteca, both retire after the fight regardless of the outcome!

Marquez is on another level though. In fact, I could see Morales trying to box with Marquez, and Marquez just countering him easily at his own pace, and it possibly turning into a dull fight; if it's a war, Morales gets a beat down and everybody regrets asking for the fight. Out of respect for Morales and consideration for what Marquez can still do for his legacy, I'd rather the fight not get made. If it does, I'll be hoping Morales can show us up again.

i'd rather see marquez versus maidana but I can see why people would wanna see the latin legend fight that never materialized in morales marquez. they'd both take home big money for that fight anywhere in the southwest.

if JMM wants to wait for morales to be done with his upcoming fight n fight him after that i would b fine wit that . morales mite get beat down so bad by garcia morales just mite retire . the fight might happen . if JMM dont wanna wait around n he wanna get a fight now he should try n fight guerrero that would be good .

Morales-JMM would make sense. That is really the only option if arum still wants him to fight in cowboy stadium.

I think guerrero - jmm would make the most sense since both r without a big opponent. But, that isn't a cowboyy stadium level fight..

It will probablu have mad ticket and PPV sales, but I'm not sure Erik still has what it takes to dance with JMM.

I assume JMM is a promotional free agent, correct? So in theory he could fight a Golden Boy fighter and not be attached to them from a promotional standpoint. I think Arum would see this as 'disloyal' and might rule out JMM for a fourth fight with Manny.
