Diaz ain't any kind of folk hero. He's a whining, petulant and unprofessional loser. Most guys in MMA would kill to be in the position that he's in (main event level fighter in the UFC), yet he keeps ****ing things up. You think it's cool for a fighter that Zuffa has invested time and money promoting to get high when he knows that he has several potential high-profile and high-revenue fights lined up in the near future? I can't believe that this clown still has any fans.

 

Why would he do this when he knows that he would be tested after the fight ? Exactly how dumb is Nick Diaz ?

 

Yep, none to smart. People can argue all they want about whether pot should be considered a banned substance or not, but currently it is, and Nick Diaz knew that. He has no one to blame but himself.
I know his fans are never keen to blame him for anything, but for those of us capable of objectivity, he does indeed look pretty dumb right now.

 

Easy way outta a GSP fight. Had he won and tested positive for weed, he would be suspended and say that's the only reason he can't kick GSP's ass. He would have challenged him saying anywhere any time sorta thing, back alley, backyard, wherever, knowing full well he had been saved a beating.

Now, he is just a loser who is unemployed.

 

GSP would destroy Diaz anyway. It would be like the Condit fight only with more powerful and hurtful strikes. GSP would do some Koscheck style damage. I don't think GSP stops him but I really don't see it being competitive at all. You basically have a guy that tries to turn every fight into a brawl V the most patient and controlled game plan follower in all MMA. Wouldn't live up to the hype.

 

i reckon he never wanted the GSP fight, first the missed press conferences, then the terrible performance that kind of looked like he gave the fight away and now this

That's the way I see it, he had his panic attacks and never showed up to the fight press conferences to get out of that fight. And now smokes weed knowing dam well it will show up in a test. Now he should get canned but he will going back to calling out GSP....."WHERE YOU AT GEORGE"?
