Risky fight for Khan

    I'm glad the rematch is happening, I'm a Khan fan and part of me thinks he deserved the rematch. His whining really pissed me off though and I lost a lot of respect for him over that.

    Now if he wins the rematch then great! He'll be pretty much back to where he was and will be able to move up to welterweight and land some good fights.

    But if he loses, where does that leave him? He'll move up to welterweight and be known as the guy who lost, moaned and moaned until he got the rematch he thought he deserved, and then lost again.

    If he wins who do you think would be good opponents for him at welterweight?

    And if he loses, who will he be able to land fights with?

    All the same It's going to be a great fight with loads of anticipation!

    he defo deserves a rematch it was a close fought fight,but the whineing and bitching has made him into a complete **** in the eyes of the boxing fraternity,personally if i was peterson id of ****ed the little baby off

    oh,and its a winnable fight for him,perterson is not top tear world class,mind you neither is khan

    To be honest I lost all respect for khan after his whining. I fully understand where hes coming from but it just made him look like such a pain to everyone else (especially in USA).

    He should of got someone from his team to raise the issue with the peterson fight and not himself, wouldn't of made him as a boxer look so bad.


    Should be a good fight though!

    Definitely didn't do himself any favours in the media!

    But where is he left if he loses again??

    I'm pretty confident he'll learn from the last fight and win the re-match. I reckon Peterson had one of his best performances, one that he might have trouble pulling out of the bag again. And Khan wasn't at his best. But maybe that was just Petersons style that made him look so bad.

    It just seems so risky for Khan. If Peterson loses he'll still have gained alot of publicity and a **** load of money compared to what he has earnt previously.

    Khan will be up **** creek if he doesn't win this one. Might live to regret pushing for the rematch so much. Hope I'm wrong though!

    If he looses again then he's gonna look like such a joke fighter. Might as well retire tbh

    What if he didn't take the rematch, moved up to 147 and lost there?

    Every fight is a risky fight.

    Oh my Buddha! A risky fight!!?!? This is ****ing boxing, and fair play to both men.

    If he loses he doesn't deserve to be in the mix for the big fights at welterweight. Let's actually see fighters earning the kudos we often give them for undefeated records with few risks.

    It's worth noting that if he didn't do the whining that he did, he probably wouldn't have got the rematch.

    But yeah, it may have been a good idea to let the Peterson fight go by for the time being, because I honestly can't picture him being able to win it. It only took Peterson two rounds to figure him out the first time. He'll know Khan even better now. I'm going with a Peterson UD or late stoppage.

    Ye man understand every fight is risky! This to me is a real 'make or break fight' and you can't say all fights are like that. Should make for a great one!

    I guess your right, if he loses then he doesn't belong at the level he's at now.

    It's a real test for him. If he hadn't taken the rematch I think he would have got a lot of grief, especially after not avenging his first loss.

    I expect a negative fight from Khan...he'll do anything he needs to do to win.

    I agree, really glad this fight is happening :good
