Who does Marquez fight?

Just posted this in the other thread.

How about Marquez vs Maidana/Alexander winner?

 

Marquez vs Maidana would be ace.

Not so keen on Alexander. Would prob be a decent enough fight but Marquez would win fairly easily.

 

JMM is tied in with Top Rank, right?

In which case, I can't see him being matched up with GBP fighters like Alexander, Maidana, etc. If we're lucky, we may see him against Rios at 140. Or almost as good, a scrap with the man in my avatar?

 

Marquez isn't signed to Top Rank, is he? :think

 

How long was his deal with TR for? It may have just been for the Pacquiao fight.

Morales is still is GB isnt he

 

I'm not quite sure. I thought when he fought Pac, he signed part of himself to Top Rank. Could be wrong.

 

I didn't know Marquez was tied into anything with Top Rank, I thought the deal he had was basically a one fight thing for Pacquiao.

If that is the case, Guerrero would be the obvious choice IMO. He's desperate for a big fight and with everyone else ignoring him, he'd certainly be keen I'd imagine. Plus Marquez would absolutely destroy him.

 

i believe that Marquez is attached to neither gb or tr. i think fernando beltran is his current promoter.

Great fight. I'm a massive Marquez fan but I'm not sure he destroys Guerrero. Kid's got some talent.
