If he vacates then he''l just sit on the shelf until the Fwank situation sorts itself out. He needs to take this fight, he's not getting any better ones.

He's got as much chance of getting the nod in Italy as Sanavia has of getting the nod over here.

It there's no other option the JDG will vacate.

Unless his form massively improves, I can't see DeGale stopping him or winning a decision in Italy so I think he may well just vacate.

    Italy

I remember fights over there in the 80's and early 90's... If you thought the USA and Germany were crooked, you should watch a few international fights from that period in Italy. :!:

Sanavia isn't that great, he's 36, been inactive and has been stopped 3 times before. Not a huge puncher either. If I was DeGale I'd be all over this.

He has to, he'll never win it if it goes to the scorecards.

I would laugh my ass off if that happened though, because I really dislike DeGale.

He'd get a warmer reception than he did against Smith in Liverpool

  11. He might need some of that to pay the judges to be honest and fair.

He should take the fight, if he wins? he wins, if he loses? great.

  13. He'll have to take it.

Without a title his earning potential will be limited, considering the current impasse with Allegedly.
