    Just seen someone comment on a Mayweather related thread saying Margarito called out Floyd to his face. Is there any truth in this, if so is there any video footage? Cheers.

    He politely asked him if Floyd wanted to fight and Floyd said he was a good fighter and told him to keep winning and bringing his name up and they'd fight down the line.

    Yes, he did.

    I don't give two shits about a verbal "call-out" though.

    Mayweather turning down $8 million for a Margarito fight means much more in the ducking argument (but Floyd ended up making a dollar more against Baldomir)

    Who cares, it dose not make Margarito quilfied to fight Mayweather. The fight would have been a joke. At least Pacquiao has some abillities and to a lesser extent Cotto.

    :lol::rofl The only words Margarito was able to get out was "I want to fight you", while Floyd is giving him business advice and letting him know that he is the example for him to learn from. :lol::D

    Marquez and Ortiz were more qualified than Margarito ever was. Nice touch throwing Mitchel in there.
