Well McCloskeys manager offered Malignaggi the fight and Malignaggi turned the fight down.

I am sure Malignaggi will say it is because the purse was too small but I am informed that the offer is bigger than his last three purses.

Is Peterson the only light welter who's not an annoying gobshite?

I like McCloskey but nobody is ducking him haha, he's a decent euro-level fighter who claims to be world class simply because he made Amir Khan look "ordinary" he still lost every second of every round and threw about 5 punches in total.

Prescott was robbed against McCloskey, they should have a rematch on the Khan/Peterson undercard on neutral territory.

McCloskey would need to get himself back up the rankings to get another title shot, quick. It's funny how so many English people In these threads feel he should rematch Prescott (close fight that really could have went either way) yet they give khan a free pass on this, even though khan would have revenge to gain from this, while McCloskey would gain nothing.

Not sure you're being fair a lot of posters have said Khan should of rematched Prescott you seem to be more about having a pop at peoples nationality than talking boxing.

As for McCloskey no US network will go near him and even Sky would be wary of him v Paulie and seeing as how Irish tv (RTE) have said they will not be showing any boxing this year where is the money coming from?

I was pointing out 2 people so far, in this thread that suggested McCloskey rematch khan, when khan rematching Prescott is mentioned there isn't often too many English posters in agreement. :nono I am talking about boxing!...you seem more interested in frogorps video collection and **** van, than boxing! :smooch

**** knows where the money is coming from...have you and ideas yourself? :huh

Hearn could probably get him on sky against someone else decent, after Katsidis, not sure who, and for how much though. He'd probably have to fight a decently well known name, in America, to get on American tv again.

He should take every fight he gets at the moment imo, stay in shape and stay busy, he's not getting any younger!
