    Mayweather wasn't a WW until very late 2005. So, the year everybody wanted this fight to happen was 2006 and 2007. Let me first say that Mayweathers' 2007 Fighter of the Year calendar year had no room for Margarito. That is nowhere close to a duck.

    What was Margarito's key fights at the beginning of 06? W Sergio (irrelevant at the time), L Santos II, W Lujan, W Cintron. So, being that the Sergio win was not a big deal at all at the time, he had had three fights that were CLOSE to the caliber of fights Mayweather and his opposition were in at the time.

    And to those who say, "yeah, well he retired to run away from him so he didn't have to face Margarito in '08." Yeah, because Margarito definitely did not lose to Paul Williams the very year before in the 2007 which, despite facing Oscar and Hatton and winning FOTY, Mayweather supposedly ducked Margarito.

    I feel sorry for those who think Mayweather ducked Margarito. Their views have been skewed by their preferences and dislikes. So, yeah, I don't expect to get a response. On ESB, if it's longer than a paragraph and doesn't read like a text message, no one bothers to read it. On ESB, if you're not being a troll, no one bothers to respond.

    Does Margarito even speak English? Margarito has been trash since the beginning of time. The only person he beat prior to 2006 was Clottey. Any fighter with mediocre boxing skill will beat Margarito PERIOD.
