He hurt him but even a full swing shot or a 3 punch combination could not give Khan jelly legs.
    Peterson UD.

I'm really split on this one. On the one hand I think Peterson knows what to do now and will go at it from the first bell, pressure, pressure and back Khan up. Khan has no infighting ability and is going to struggle with that.

On the other hand, I also think that Khan will now know what to expect. There wont be a surprise, he knows he has to keep distance, that he must throw shots in bunches to do this, not expect a stoppage and use the uppercut as Peterson closes the gap.

Even when Peterson was winning rounds, there were times when Khan made room and outboxed him and even hurt him. Then Khan would lean back on the ropes and lose the round by being inactice and letting Peterson bust him up a bit.

It is intriguing and I think it will be a close, interesting and exciting fight.

I will go with Khan UD purely as I think he will take less time off on the ropes and move move, and the judges will be aware of what controversy there was with the last fight and score close rounds to Khan.

But I would not be surprised with a Peterson win at all, given that he will feel very confident and not give away 2 of the first 3 rounds figuring out that plan B was more effective than plan A.

I certainly wont be putting money on it, but I look forward to it.

This fight will come down to whether Khan can adapt to fight on the inside. He was terrible last time and rightly gone points deducted. I'm not sure how well Peterson will adapt on the night if Khan does show he can fight inside. If this is fought at range Khan will probably take it down.

if you watch the fight and analyse khan's jab, you can see he has a very inconsistent jab, every round he used it he won the round but some of the rounds he used it as a range finder like mosley but he lacks the raw power to do that, he must throw the jab with consistency and conviction, he needs to throw that right uppercut of his, he throws it well.

Peterson needs to do the same but from the outside should throw more jabs to the chest area of khan, once inside needs to mix his body punches with upper-cuts

prediction : Khan UD 116-112 close but clear, had the first 113-112

Post of the day by Bazaa and Dude

Because Khan actually cares about making a legacy for himself first and foremost, instead of sitting around and waiting for a fight that he most likely loses. His attitude might stink sometimes, and he might be an arrogant *******... but you have to hand it to him, he has heart and wants to be remembered as someone great.

    Bazaa replys:

    Absolutely nailed it.
People brand Khan a bad loser. No great champion is a good loser.

    ------

People forget that Khan was WBA champ since 2009. Thts quite a achievement in todays day and age.

Strike you feeling alright mate, you've come out of the lounge. How hard is it to see the fights in Korea?

Peterson imo should adapt better, he's good at analysing boxing. Khan may train harder but I don't think him or Roach are great at making technical changes. However Khan is faster and faster fighters should win the early rounds before fading to the technically better fighter (Peterson), who will do better as both slow. So it maybe very similar if Peterson can't pressure Khan earlier

Expect another close fight and if it's close Khan probably gets the nod this time. I reckon Khan is a reasonable bet, Golden Boy probably want to protect their interests and have blatantly tapped up fights in the past
