Because that's where he feels best preparing and he's the main man in Freddie's stable, up to him really.

Paq is numero uno in that camp.
Khan will be fighting the same fight and expecting the judges to side with him.
I hope Peterson starts off strong from the 1st round. Look what he did in the 2nd, basically made amir fight his fight.

Jesus, its pretty obvious whats happening.....Joe Gallaghers fighters know pretty much nothing other than fighting on the inside. Roach hasn't been able to teach him anything up until this point, has he?

    Good and bad news.

Good news is that Gallagher may be able to offer a bit of advice. Bad news is all of that travelling around. It didn't seem to bother him that much for the Maidana fight, but this time round Freddy needs to do a lot more work with him.

Its money money money with Roach, if you arent earning enough? Expect to be slipped down the importance ladder. Khan gets beat? Welll he can fly all over the world if he wants Freddies advice.

Khan cant complain though, cos when he arrived & Roach seen the dollar signs? McEwan was slipped down that importance ladder. Its the way of the Roach.

It's not the way of Roach, it's the way of the world.

Ye your totally right; but what's he going to learn in 2 weeks?? Could have had 8 weeks going over some inside stuff. Not intense training that would interfere with the 10 week schedule but something.

fair point Wallet. I just hate it when money comes before loyalty, especially if you are earning enough to be comfortable in life financially.

    Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks I suppose.

Hes with Gallagher to whip him into shape, end of. Look at Smigga before Groves blasted him away, smigga looked about 5 years younger training with the Gal, cos he was in the shape of his life:deal

I agree with this he should have been in the gym just learning how to fight on the inside at the end of the day its only gonna benefit him.

The problem with Khan is he doesnt seem to acknowledge its something which let him down in the 1st fight.

Presume everyone already knows this but Gallagher is based in Khan's gym, so basically he is training for a couple of weeks at home with one of the UK's best trainers, sparring with one of the best stables many of whom specialise in the type of fighting that give Khan trouble. Doesn't sound too bad to me!

I agree spending the majority of each training period in the Philippines playing second fiddle to Pac isn't for the best.

Not usually a fan of Joe but this is a great opportunity for Khan to get some experience in inside fighting. Loads of fighters to spar.
