    So, I can masterfully argue either side of point.

    C'mon, that was pretty good stuff, I thought. Though I was hedging on Gary Bell, too.

    He had some back alley science. He knew that left was his ticket and worked all night trying to set it up all night. And say what I will about his competition, it took Joe Louis to put him down. He was tough as nails. Chin+Power never goes out of fashion in the heavyweight division. He would always be dangerous. And damn, Joe hated him, too. Not an envious position to be on the wrong end of Joe Louis' wrath. He gets balls points for pissing him off.

    It's a shame people are comparing Galento to Butterbean, the latter was nothing more than a sideshow with a extremely padded record who couldn't beat a thousand year old Larry Holmes. Galento was a real fighter with serious power, a great chin, alot of heart (something that is severley lacking in the modern era) and a very awkward style.

    At the least i think he'd be a dangerous gatekeeper at the most a alphabet champ.
