    tru tru but was he suppose to say he was not the best and that other fighters were better then him. the **** starts from within yourslef and you have to believe you are the best to be the best.thats how it is when yo are talking about being the best.floyd did not want to be a good or great fighter he wanted to be the best.saying and doing are 2 different things but id say he's doing a hellva job so far.get pass cotto floyd, then pacman. go for the mw champat 160. i want floyd to be a 10x world champ in 6 weight classes. if he beats cotto he will be 8x in 5 weight classes. he really needs to go for the mw crown before he reitres. i make it hard for him but the more he does, the less **** people can talk.he wants to silent the critics i want them dead :thumbsup

    You honestly believe that beating, Cotto, Marg, and, P-Will would have made Floyd a top 10 atg? Look at fighters ranked in the top 10 and compare their resumes. No way in hell does Floyd become top 10 by beating those those three.

    There are plenty of great fighters that didn't take on all comers. You can't fight everyone. Also Floyd has been up against every style in boxing.

    You know someone's a moron when they take what I said out of context when I was using "Being in wars" as a measure of his ring age, not his greatness.

    Beating the dog **** out of a fighter the caliber of gatti shouldn't be used as a measure of "prime years", did anybody that follows boxing and isn't a Floyd hater seriously think Gatti had a realistic chance, besides the luck factor???

    When did Floyd stop being prime???? Pleases enlighten me.

    Yea I agree. I don't blame him for saying that. It takes balls to say that especially when you know backlash will follow.

    Yea I would love to see Floyd fight Martinez for the linear title at 160. He would be undefeated in 6 weight classes and lineal in 4. Of course the fight with Manny needs to happen. I also wouldn't mind him fighting Canelo and getting another lineal title. So he would retire 46-0 undefeated in 6 weight classes and lineal in 5. He would also be a 10 time world champ. That might sound crazy but it's not out of the realm of possibility :lol:

    Floyd made 20 mil vs Oscar. He was offered a 3 fight contract by Arum worth about that which included Margarito. R U serious?
    How does a 154lb Oscar de La Hoya with a height and reach advantage with an ATG jab suit Mayweather's style whereas a walking no skill punching bag doesnt.

    Peak I would say 05-06 and prime 07. Floyd even says he isn't in his prime.

    you would think turning pro in 1996 and 42-0 people would understand how great he is by now. who has the record with his resume to go with it ? joe cal retired undefeated 45 -0 but like at his resume compared to floyd. hatton was 40 - 0 and look at his record comapred to floyds.hell canelo will be 40 - 0 but look at the people he fought. mayweather has some great champs, former champs and future champs on his resume. this is why i say MONEY - cant AFFORD to lose. people will take everything from him off of one loss, and how would he lose most likely get hit with a punch he did not see coming and gets koed. its not like he will get outboxed, but i can see him getting hit with a jesus punch that he want recover from.big deal everyone gets caught sooner or later.

    Maybe if he wasn't 35 :lol::p

    thing is, I imagine looking at everything that Mayweather probably always thought he'd fight til he was about 30 (common thought for life timers like May) and cap it all off with a huge fight with ODH at WW or JMW. It was after that that the breaks and **** came along.

    He's obviously finding it hard to quit like all the others do.
