Good move for him, I think. Slick figher, just too small. I'll bet he has some power at crusier too.

He could pikc up a crusier betl and re-invade the heavies later with the experience of being a champ in his own right.

People were saying this since he was coming up. Felt bad for him against Wlad, last second KO face first, feels bad.

Where did you hear this? He was as good as he's been against Dimitrenko, when he dropped the extra pounds, and I said if he was down that low, comfortably, he could fight at Cruiser or Heavy, whenever he felt like it, if he kept in shape, off-training. I know he mentioned it before, then not long after it was right back to wanting the HW title and I figured he just didn't want to put in the effort. He's America's best heavyweight as it is, regardless, imo.

I don't like this idea and hope Chambers doesn't do it. He's a top heavyweight and the only heavyweight I'd make a clear favorite over him is Wlad, I think he gives Vitali fits and beats or atleast even with every other heavyweight.

At cruiserweight he'd make smaller paydays, have to go to Europe for any major fights, and even if he did grab some belts at cruiser there just isn't much recognition for the division.

If Chambers if healthy at the weight (and I have no reason to think he wouldn't be), I'd favor him over every cruiserweight.

Very good idea, thanks goodness he realised it, unless you are 6ft4+ you have no business in HW nowadays really.

chambers vs tarver sounds fiesable. tavern is a vet but definitely older and slower than fast Eddie. good chance to take advantage of an old veteran with a name and finally become a beltholder

How about he actually sticks with a fight, then I'll care what weight class he's at.

Like Adamek, Chambers is too small for HW.

Haye on the other hand is a natural heavyweight who was in his own words "killing himself to make 200" at the end of his CW run.

Not sure how well this will work out for Chambers. Remember when Byrd dropped down from HW to make his 'natural weight'? Disaster.

Byrd was already badly declined, and dropped 2 weight classes.

Chambers can do this with minimal effort.

Maybe. Maybe not. He'd better move to Europe though or he'll get no fights that are worth a sh*t.

  15. He is not too small. He has skill and he beat top 10 contender Dimitrenko and lasted almost the whole fight against Wlad.
Once again, size means nothing. If Chambers was too small, why did he outlast bigger guys against Wlad? Chambers needs to stop calling off fights and stop being a *****. He complains that he gets no respect, well fight through pain then you *****.
