Yeah, this place is my life and I am totally devastated by your brutally accurate assessment of me.

Is Peace Walker any good? I've not played it yet. I've heard the story is really good.

It explains the story of Big Boss and leads up to the events of the founding and the creation of Outer Heaven.

The year is 1974. In Costa Rica, an unknown army of well-equipped soldiers has taken over the defenseless country. The soldiers have also brought along a nuclear warhead labeled "Peace Walker", to set off their last nuclear warhead for deterrence, and demonstrate their power with the perfect deterrent.Big Boss is asked to save the country along with his Militaires Sans Frontieres (Soldiers Without Borders).

    I liked it.

You're obviously not suffering from Tourette syndrome like the unfortunate who has happily found a distraction, so we can try to work this out. I hate to answer your question with questions, but there seems to be some kind of a culture clash or a generational clash here. What is it that strikes you as fictional - the number of fights? The details? Too few losses? All of the above?

I'd wager it's the whole "internet" equation.

I've got a friend who's had well in excess of 70 fist fights between the streets and plenty of jail time. Haven't seen him in years but his losses were very definitely under 4. Apparently lost one at about 17 to a big Irishman quite adept with the dukes. He got a lot bigger after that. We'll call him "S". He's ko'd cops, bikies, boxers, the list goes on.

    Highlights/Lowlights

Being attacked with a screwdriver, end result being him scratching out the assailants throat with said weapon.

Throwing a guy off a balcony when outnumbered, guy had to be resuscitated.

Comfortably winning a 7 on 1. With each right hand the numbers dropped by 1 and the mob scurried back to reform. Again, and again, and again before police squads arrived.

Prison pro boxer hits him from behind in the showers and keeps going. Battles well but gets a touch up before it's interrupted due to never getting on the front foot. Spends the night in hospital as a precaution, gets some stitches. Within a few weeks catches up with said boxer, this time with no disadvantage. They called him the king in general pop, 3 or 4 mates worked there over many years.

Gets ambushed outside the pub by 12 (maybe more) aboriginals, some with pick handles. Grabs one and pulls him close (protection) as they overwhelm him and he falls into the side of a car right near the front wheel. His mate runs out and puts a full six pack of bottles over one of their heads and most turn to the new threat. As they belt this guy out (he was carried past some of us spark outcold) S fights his way up against the diminished numbers. He starts dropping people like flies. Blocks a didgeridoo with his forearm, later shown to be fractured and just keeps going. Special police squads finally arrive, apparently reaching speeds of almost 200kph in the 30km trip.

An old enemy then well settled in prison sends 5 peeps after him the first day of a new stint. 3 end up in hospital and when he raced down to where old mate was he'd long left knowing the possible outcome.

Takes on 4 at once, winning before 6 screws manage to restrain him. One of the four spits in his face while he's held. Screws take him to a different area, mandatory procedure after a fight. He tells them if they don't put him back in with them he's going to smash each and every one of them (the screws) in coming days. The screws, who have a good healthy respect and friendly working relationship with him oblige and he smashs all four straight away.

I could easily add 20 more stories, but might be accused of fiction telling. Such things do happen. I've never seen anything remotely close to this guy and his life, but it's a big world.

Cheers mate. I actually forgot one interesting detail. When they were smashing at him with sticks and the rest of it against the car wheel the car copped a pizzling. The attackers actually went thru court for this - damages to the car totalled over $2000aud :yep

Pretty sure the repairers spared no expense tho

I'm not arguing about it being true or not, I just think it's ****ing gay to be boasting about it, especially when you act all high and mighty and superior. It's something idiots do, you're not an idiot.
