I'm already tired too argue with you ! Pac have a Pinoy fans base ! Do you want to wage who will make more money in there next fight , Froch or Ward ? 1 month ban ?
I personally think Ward should fight him now, but then again.. Bute is not a name in the states, so Ward might be smart to put it on hold and wait for Bute to make a name for himself in America. On the other hand, Ward is injured and will be out of boxing for a few months. Which he even talked about before the super six ended, so you can't blame him for the fight not happening this instance. He doesn't need two names, he needs one, and that could be Dre Dirrell, Anthony Dirrell, Carl Froch, Bernard Hopkins... but more importantly, I think it should be whomever Showtime wants him to fight, because at the end of the day Showtime will be the citadel for American exposure at SMW, and fighting an American fighter will lure in more American viewers. So what I'm saying is, meet Showtimes demands and fight in America against an American Fighter, after all, Showtime signed him to a three fight contract and let him handpick his fights whilst the S6 was going on. The least he could do is do his fans a favour and make a name for himself in the US.
Badlok, are you ******ed? Am I saying he'll earn more his next fight? Can you read my post again and come back to me? You're obviously not reading my posts, so if you don't then don't reply to them.
Lewis TKO6 Wald You don't need to call me name , if you don't have fun posting here it's maybe time for you take a break! You were implying ( is that a word?) the Ward was making more money then Froch!
He did make more money than Froch did for their bout, it must be an indication of something?!?! I'll tell you what, if he fights Kessler next I can make a lifetime bet with you that he'll make more than Froch. And again, I don't care about what these fighters make, all I care for is who they fight. I don't profit from their financial profit, I only profit from them fighting one another. You seem to excuse your delusional bias with the fact that Bute is making money fighting at home, well guess what buddy, so was Kessler and Abraham, and that didn't stop them from going away and fighting the best.
The difference with Kessler and Bute is that Kessler fought the best available opposition, AWAY. He happily did it against Calzaghe and earned a whooping 20m DKK. He took his own belt and flew to Oakland and fought Andre Ward, and did the same against Mundine in Australia. Yet, these Butte-lickers always complain about money, they must not know, Arthur Abraham and Mikkel Kessler could fill stadiums fighting cab drivers and no-hopers too! They just chose to be great, Bute hasn't chosen to be great yet, and we can all fault him for that.
Ok , but the problem is that we don't know if the Bute-Froch fight will be transmitted by SHO who has exposure in the States, since they weren't agreed with this fight ! It could be transmitted by Sky .:think
Froch has a hard time getting the English networks behind him, let alone Showtime/HBO. Bute should meet showtimes demands and fight an American fighter, it'll suit him better for getting a fight with Andre Ward.
I understand that . Andre Dirrell would have been available since Hopkins has a rematch but Dirrell hasn't a solid fan base in USA , isn't very popular ; and how a Bute-Dirrell fight would draw some attention on USA market if the american fighter isn't well known ?? I mean Bute is very popular and can draw in Canada but Dirrell doesn't want to go there !
Thats showtimes problem, not Bute's. They need to market the fight and sell it, if Bute signs it. They can guarantee Bute a purse, Bute doesn't have to worry about selling the fight. He'll sell the fight in Canada whomever he fights.
so Bute's promoter shifted to Froch , who is a better name/draw than Dirrell and available! I bet Froch is more known as a fighter than Andre Dirrell in US or at least equaly known as Dirrell is !!
But Showtime doesn't want Froch, they want Dirrell. They will guarantee Bute a purse, a fight can be made in USA anywhere near NYC/Detroit and it'll still fill with Butes fans too! Bute won't have to worry about selling the fight in America, thats Showtimes job.
