When Pac retires boxing will miss him more then any other boxer in recent history

    His decade of providing exciting fights with an all out action style and his eventual ppv stardom won't be replicated for many years and when he's gone boxing will be a slightly less exciting sport (atleast in the mainstream) the quality of his opposition faced has been 2nd to none the only other boxer who comes close in that regard is probably Oscar but outside of him there's no one who's fought all the best fighters that were available (Floyd aside) it's funny to think that if had retired right after beating David Diaz (or the 2nd Marquez fight) he'd still be an ATG but peoples opinion (atleast on here) would have been a lot more positive towards him then they are currently.

    he wont be missed by anyone buy homo ass pinoys whos only knowledge of the sport consist of Manny his opponents and floyd...Manny is a casual boxing fans dream..the "new thing" whos claim to fame is being mentioned in the same sentence as floyd

    when srl retired for the final time dlh was already massive

    when dlh retired, pacquiao and mayweather took up the mantle

    they'll always be another cash cow

    of course. he's the biggest star in boxing right now. when he leaves itll leave a void until some other suepr talented/ exciting fighter comes along.

    Real boxing fans miss all of the good competitive boxers one no more than the others. I miss Both Gatti and Ward equally even though Gatti had a much more memorable career.

    Of course Manny will be missed, but not more than others. All great warriors are missed. It will be a sad day when Juan Manuel Marquez hangs them up and kept proving the world wrong. Horrible decisions, but all 3 fights given to us by Pacman and Dinamita are among the best in boxing. Gotta be real grateful for that.

    I'm getting bored of Pac's cherry picking and catchweights....If he would fight fighters at their peak I can see why he would be missed by most.

    His last fight was good, mostly because of JMM, his fight with Mosley was lame, his fight with Margarito wasn't very exciting, his fight with Cotto was entertaining, his fight witn Clottey sucked. Why would people miss that?
