Now JMM will deiftnately be missed..He's a true fighter who defends his titles against people who earn the right to fight for the title...He fights old, young, bigger, stronger, prime, past prime, he don't give a **** about careful matchmaking like Pacquiao.

His combinations are beautiful, his textbook footwork is superb, his feints, and countering are amazing.

Of course he'll be missed, regardless of his recent form he's provided us with some excellent fights and memorable performances in the past. Only butt hurt Mexicans or someone with Money May's balls stuck firmly in their mouth would disagree.

Agreed. He has provided us with continued action. His battles against he Mexican greats were epic and will be watched for years. The first four rounds against Cotto were great, he absolutely anhillated ODLH. Manny brings excitement to the sport.

Disagree with what? With that he will be missed, or the most missed?

Because if its the most missed, I highly doubt it.

Nobody but his most ardent fans will miss Mayweather. He doesn't excite people. JMM is great, but his popularity is miniscule next to Pac's. I love Cotto, but he has even fewer supporters than JMM. The Klits? They are so boring HBO won't even broadcast their fights.

Manny is the torchbearer of this era.

Mayweather is good for boxing but in a different way to Pacquiao though his talents will also be missed from a boxing viewpoint it could be decades before a boxer as technically sound shows up especially one who can dominate for over a decade not to mention remain undefeated.

    This.

Anyone who argues otherwise and tries to deny the memorable moments that Pacquiao has given us, can't be a true fan of the sport. The man has been a phenom. He'll be one of the first fighters I'll mention when speaking to future fans of the sport.

This dude duck Mayweather all this time, now he want to retire, to do some bible studying. Pac and Arum can both go to hell. If he does retire, it have to be one of the biggest ducks in history, considering Arum never intended on the fight happening anyway.

Mayweather is a once in a generation talent. Manny is a once in a generation draw. Mayweather has to foster millions of haters to sell his fights. Manny does it with his personality and track record.
