One must give credit to Dome Heed for going into an opponents back yard and taking the title off him. Salutations.

Yeah, I remember that like it was yesterday. It was also the only fight that I've rooted for him.

Tim Bradley's climb to the top has been a gradual and subtle one. He may get the award for most unspectacular elite fighter of this generation. No quality that makes him stand out or screams greatness, but he keeps on winning.

Watch, it's not just the Manny fight (though it's gonna forever change things for Tim), but he's finally away from that **** head Gary Shaw. Shaw's job was to PROMOTE Bradley and one look around this board alone tells all one needs to know about how good he was doing at it.

All Shaw cares about is his MMA guys/shows.

He is, or was for a long time, the man at 140. That makes him elite, IMO. A top ten pound for pound fighter is certainly elite. Elite does not mean ATG. When people go around saying someone of his caliber isn't "elite", it worries me, because it polarizes fighters and fans even more than they already are, and that's not good for the sport.

Bradley is a very good all-around fighter. He can box outside well, fight inside well, he's smart in the ring, physically strong, pretty quick, good stamina, good heart, and good recuperative ability. He only lacks punching power. Which is unfortunately the quality he needs to have a real shot against Pacquiao. If he can't stop Pacquiao from coming forward on him, Pacquiao will walk him down and eventually take him out.

it was actually around 7 to 1.

Witter was considered the 2nd best 140 lb fighter at the time and arguably 1st (Hatton at the time). Witter's stock was skyrocketing and the pressure for Ricky to fight him was intensifying but Bradley ruined all that. I was rooting for witter but was happy to see Bradley pull off the upset.

Bradley put his work in and is now fighting a top pfp fighter. He has a good chance of getting huge. Pac mentally has lost it. He should quit boxing if his mind is no longer there.
