Argentina Commission: We laugh at sanctions The WBC earlier today demanded that local authorities immediate action to punish the criminals that have stained boxing and the reputation of such an exemplary and honorable country like Argentina. They also called on all boxing federations, boxing commissions and promoters in the world to take this shameful event as an example to reinforce security before, during and after the bouts to prevent incidents like the post-fight riot in Mar de Plata, Argentina. However, Osvaldo Bisbal, head of the Federación Argentina de Boxeo (FAB), said in an interview with Clarin that there will be no sanctions involving the incident. According to what I saw, I cant find anyone to punish. Who you want to punish? The boxer? The promoter? They complied with everything. The Once Unidos Stadium had nothing to do with it. There is no one to punish. As for the possibility of the IBF sanctioning the Argentina Federation? We laugh of the sanctions of international sanctioning bodies stated Bisbal. They have no authority to do so. ________________________________________ They dont seem to take this situation seriously and dont even wanna try and arrest anyone or do ANYTHING and seem to think its a joke so you know what they should be banned for life. A big fight should never be allowed to take place in this country again since the head of there FAB doesn't seem to care so **** them. Better off next time it might not turn out so good next time someone could get killed.
When there is a riot people get arrested people get held accountable for there actions. No one was arrested and the commission down there seems to think that a riot is no big deal. So what you said is dumb.:good
In football (soccer) for example, when there is racist chanting or sectarian troubles commuted by the fans (example in Scotland) then the TEAM the fan is from gets fined etc So the commissioner laughing should be fined as should the owners/people of the venue etc and the boxer and his team who united this riot with his actions in the ring! All this as was mentioned by a previous poster
How do you know that? It has only been a couple of days since the riot. Anyway I don't want to get in pointless arguments. If what you say it's true yes they should be punished. In any other case there have been similar riots in the States, England and so on. edit. I saw your previous post later
the thing is, people in england and the u.s are always punished, maybe not all of them but at least the main perpetrators, whereas from 718's post quoting Bisbal, it seems as if he doesn't give a damn and if anything, finds it humorous. people could have lost lives. that was an utterly chatoc scene, and the man finds it funny?
yeah I saw the quote after I commented. And the riot was pretty bad. They should impose them some sanctions and ask for some guarantees before they let them organize such event again.
do the proper investigation and pursue the guilty not the whole country. those crazy ****ers don't represent argentina.
