As the title says was Khan ever considered the man in his division?

Admittedly my memory is not great but as far as I was aware he was not but on another forum people are claiming he was.

People started saying he was when Bradley ducked him.
Bradley beating Alexander always had him ahead of Khan though.

Possibly due to Bradley's unwillingness to take the fight....

He closed the gap on Bradley rapidly, and at most, made his [Bradley's] number one position seriously unstable. That all changed when Peterson ripped up the script, though.

Bull****. Quite a few neutrals had Khan levelling Bradley after the Judah win (due to Bradley's serious inactivity). And based on their then belief that Khan would beat him, they just naturally pushed him up to the number one spot.

There was talk of it after the Bradley fight wasn't made but it was difficult to put Khan there on achievement. If Khan had beaten Peterson convincingly he would have had a real shout.

:deal Its strange how people use the term nuthugger, we all have a like or dislike for certain boxers but some can discuss without it getting in the way. (Not too many mind!)

It ****ing annoys me, mate. The way "nut-hugger" is thrown around at every unnecessary opportunity to have a dig at a fighter and his fans. Even though I use it myself sometimes (only when there's a need for it and I'm actually addressing nut-huggers that are present in a thread), some are just really pathetic with it.

But on a serious note, how much ground will Khan have regained on Bradley if he convincingly beats Peterson in the rematch?

Will it be enough to put him back where he was before the loss?

If he wins comfortably and shows an improvement then I would have to say yes he's back to where he was, It would depend how Bradley performs against pac before you could say if Khans regained ground on him imo, if he troubles Pac in any way and puts on a good show, then his reputation will sky rocket leaving Khan behind again.
