I'm with you on this although I've never seen boxing in HD. Seen formula 1 and football alright..wasn't blown away
I've D/L'd a couple a fights in HD and was left with a "not bad, but..." type of feeling. I know what ASL means about the SD not being the best on BoxNation but even thats not something I notice when the fight has started.
If Im watching a fight and its a good fight I'm not going to be pausing thinking to myself 'god that picture quality is amazing!' I'm going to be watching the ****ing fight. If boxnation started showing fights in HD in a separate channel it would only add more cost to the subscription and I'd imagine a lot more people would start moaning then
The only difference I noticed was seeing the presenters wearing make-up clearly. I don't want to see men wearing make-up.
Now that Ive seen you can cancel BN any time after three months, Im going to get it for Doughboy, Burns, Clev and Mayweather for 30 quid if this is true. Not looking too bad now eh? If you ask me, they shouldnt be upgrading to HD just yet, they should be using that money for more programming... and to get the production values up.
Im happy as long as it included in the £10 a month I pay and not PPV, I cannot stress how much that would **** me off. I can see it happening though. EDIT,, This does not make up for Cleverly v Karpency, that sort of matchmaking should be banned, also won't his current fighters get pissed off if Fwank is getting fights like Mayweather but can't win purse bids for them. :?
Got to say fair play to boxnation, they are putting it all on the line. I think as subscriptions rise so will the quality. It would be foolish to think that everything would be perfect from the start. If they get the Pac/Bradley fight too then wow!
Who can fwank use to headline a show them months? Burns, mitchell, groves, del boy and clev are all out the next 6 weeks. Something along the lines of the walsh brothers or mckenzie is all I can think of and they're small shows tbh
ESPN's UK contract with the UFC will end in August and boxnation may get this if its still going, defo's a step in the right direction for more viewers. I only pay £9 a month for the UF|C on ESPN even tho some of the footy on their is a bonus!
will be happy with either to be honest. Sky will be better due to sky sports news and the hype it'll build but downside could be future PPV's!!! FX ya dont get the hype but at least no PPV's. Do ya know when the next ultimate fighter will be on FX?
No mate, if I remember correctly, subscription started 3rd or 10th December, so six full months would go to early June.
