You're ignoring the half a stadium that was totally empty. Dreadful venue for a fight anyway. Awful atmosphere, **** area, terrible visibility, etc

Also, it was full of stupid football fans that started booing Mitchell before they realised they were booing the wrong guy:patsch

Upton park was truly aweful despite probably making financial sense. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Just idiot wannaby hard football fans all trying to start fights. One of the few cards I have left before the last fight.

Mitchell clearly wasn't saying if it makes ense financially for him, he was saying for both of them they may as well make as much money as possible. He siad if he gets paid more to go up to Scotland, he would go up to Scotland!!!

How was it a dreadful venue? While half the stadium was closed, it was completely sealed off, and 17,000 still managed to pack in. It wasn't a poor atmosphere at all, there were just more football fans than usual (which is a given considering it was at Upton Park).*

As for it being a **** area, it is 10 minutes from Mile End which is easy to get to, and a 10 minute walk from the c2c train.

The atomosphere was terrible. The worst in boxing that I have ever been to.

Mate, I was there - it was ****. Between the **** all around the "bar", and the dickheads all around the park, it was an awful place to spend time. Then the sound was basically an echo and visibility was massively limited because of supremely dumb screen placement.

When I say a **** area, i mean full of shitbags. Thankfully the station is near so I was able to get the **** out asap.

**** me, if you thought that as bad, you should come down when millwall are playing us!

I honestly dont see the problem. You get idiots in every boxing venue (didn't some bloke get thrown of the second tier at Cleverly - Bellew?)

You do, but there were a lot of them around us, I suppose. Also, that night started my hatred of DeGale. One day I'll tell why.

Also, it didn't help that a load of Spurs fans kicked off with a few West Ham in the Bobby Moore Lower just before the main event

I felt what ruined it was the goalposts just chucked in corner, atmosphere was good when Milwall lads jumped fence :rofl.

TBH i think it's better if this fights away from east end for Kevin, just my thoughts but i think he's easily distracted and needs to be put away in camp away from home and a fight either neutral or lions den. (Not Millwall )

Ricky gives me impression he could fight anywhere anytime, remember this kid had around 9 bouts in a years span. He fought Earl in London with only a handful of fights he's not gonna be flustered wherever bout is. I think mentally he's the stronger of two.
