All we need now is for Mosley to spoil the party.

Mayweather keeps running from Pacquiao-first Pacman need to take tests. then pacman need to drop lawsuit. then pacman need to accept date/venue.

Pacquiao asked for a fair 50/50..Pacman is the one wanting to fight, not Mayweather-Pacman busy with JMM Petersen winner anyways..Pac is only current top 20 ATG.

Since Mayweather-Pacquaio prefer to dance around instead of fighting each other the rest of their careers then this would actually be an interesting fight. Its possibly the biggest non-Pac fight for Mayweather and by the time they meet its a good match up.

Most people are basing how this fight would play out if they were to face each other now, and clearly Mayweather would be a solid favorite. When you add Mayweather's jail time and history of fighting once a year then I don't think he fights until next year. May seems to be his favorite time to fight so I'd guess Mayweather's next fight is May 2013, but I'd like to be wrong.

If Mayweather-Alvarez happens May 2013 then I see it as a competitive fight. Alvarez probably fights, by May, two more times after Mosley and one of those will probably be the Kirkland-Molina winner or Martiroysan. So Alvarez will be a much more experienced and better fighter by May 2013. Mayweather will be 35 and a part-time fighter for several years, this won't be a prime Mayweather at all.

Mayweather will probably still be favored but its a good fight in a years time. Of course Alvarez could lose to someone like Kikrland or Mayweather-Alvarez happens later this year or a number of things could factor in. But if Mayweather-Alvarez plays out like its possible then this could be a good fight.

They just want to hype the Cinco de Mayo fights. They want to make sure the Mexicans will buy the ppv.

Yea, cause Floyd facing a bigger, younger and stronger fighter means he's ducking Pacquiao, right Punani-a-gogo?

Doesn't Canelo remember when Floyd said PUBLICLY, " and yes, Manny, you're next". Then a week later, he said, "I never said that, don't put words in my mouth".

I just think everyone is fully aware that Pacquiao will no-longer be a viable option once he gets beaten by Bradley. In fact, I think even the *******s know this. Because if Canelo and Floyd have agreed to face each other next....this forum would be flooded with *******s screaming "DUCKER!!!" But it's not...is it? I think they want to wait til after the Pac vs Bradley fight to see if Pacquiao looks impressive before they start in with the Ducking BS. If he loses or looks awful.....get ready to see the whole "PACQUIAO IS DECLINING" threads and bull**** claims of slowing down and being distracted.

I dont get why people accept this easily, if this was arum saying jmm 4 for sure after timmy we would have 10 threads from raging *****s but now they are completely cool with floyds move or quiet.
You should see where this route is leading to, lets say floyd is the same as he was vs ortiz he defeats cotto, pac beats bradley, floyd beats young canelo, pac has another controversial fight with jmm and we are in the same position as a few months ago.
Only this time floyd will be a 154 boxer with pac at 147 not willing to move up.
Logically the fight is already dead now, not 100% but it definitely looks like it will never happen.
