Peterson stops Khan in rematch....

I reckon Amir wins it. Close but clear.

The word adapt has become overrated. It's about having more than one game-plan. Peterson had more than one, Khan did not.

Khan's turtle defence while sitting on the ropes really screwed him. That gave Peterson the rounds, big time.

When I look at the +'s, I see more for Khan in the rematch.

 

I still can't believe i have got 6/1 for Peterson to win the rematch.

 

Khan UD, Khan beat him the first time in my view and will again.

BTW Why would Khan give away his fight plan on TV for all to see?

The word Maybe is used to not answer the question, he has to keep his plans to himself.

 

Peterson will be robbed by Goldenboy in Vegas, just look at the Maidana fight, Khan should've been stopped in the 10th instead Cortez was practically helping him stay on his feet

For Peterson to win he has to stop Khan with good power shots, just dunno if Peterson has that KO power

My money will be Peterson KO, straddled with Khan on points 50/50 fight IMO

 

Hopefully Peterson jumps on him early, remembers khans timing, takes the fight straight to the inside, and roughs khan up from the 1st round. Would like to see Peterson getting the stoppage this time round, but have a ad feeling that unless he KOs khan, he'll get robbed in points. Does anyone know who's picking the ref? If its Cortez, Peterson has little to no chance.

He was good but not anything special.

At times he resembled a diesel tractor just chugging forward, and Khan couldn't do much with him other than flurry and push him away.

Think about what you just said there! Khan cheated consistently throughout the last fight and was shocked when he was penalised for it. So you basically want a ref to allow khans cheating to go unchecked?

 

Khan will knock Peterson out in the rematch!!! Khan won the first fight!!!

 

Pushing??? that's some D.C State foul, never seen points taken off anyone for that, not 2 points to make it even worse.

 

I've seen people put less effort into pushing a car than Khan put into Peterson in the 12th round.

Khan will not be able to change the way he fights in one training camp, no matter who trains him, he does not know what to do when he's put under pressure, he may do alright for a few rounds but after a while he will revert back to type, backed up on the ropes and
taking punches.

The blueprint is there to beat Khan and Peterson knows it better than anyone, for Khan to win he needs to utilize his jab imo, getting slightly out of range and using it when Peterson tries to come inside, sticking it in his face always staying just out of range, not running half way around the ring all the time, try taking a few steps to the side, not backwards in straight lines and conserve a bit of energy that he usually wastes.

I don't see Khan doing this though, it will be more of the same, run and flap instead of box and move.

 

He could learn a lot from watching Burns vs Katsidis, looking to catch the opponent coming in with the uppercut.

Peterson isn't as open, but if Khan could add it to his armoury even slightly, it would make an impression in the minds of the judges.
