How did Mitchell look v Lora??

Not too bad to say hes been out for a year

Probably the best kind of fight for him, a tough 10 rounder. Shook off the ring rust and got going again.

I am a fan and i think hes very good. He just needs to get fighting regularly again. I think hes out again in march.

But yeah overall, he looked decent just a bit rusty. I think we will know more about where he is at after his next fight.

 

Nothing special, floored the guy with a nice left hook. Did some nice things but not a great display. Content to do as told and box purely off backfoot.

 

It was a solid, if unspectacular, performance. If he goes after burns he'll need to be better.

I'm glad he got the rounds in rather than finishing the guy in the second

 

Mainly on the backfoot, where he is most effective. He still can hurt guys even when fighting cautiously which is why he is so good to watch.

 

he looke pretty good although,
i watched the burns/katsidis fight straight afterwards and i really noticed he looks slower than burns and has a shorter reach.

 

kev told me on sunday he doubt if he will fight in march now.....

 

Looked ok fighting off the back foot but I felt if he threw his shots with a bit more power he might have stopped him.

 

He didn't look too bad considering the lay off he has had, took too many punches for my liking though.

 

been out for half a year so good really won easily im sure hes gonna pick it up now a world title shot is on the horizon. This fight wa sjus about getting the rounds in i believe.

 

Why? and did he get paid for the Lora fight.

 

because hes got the burns fight coming up thats why

 

I thought he made a meal out of it. The guy has been very inactive over the last couple of years so ill give him a pass and he generally raises his game (katsidis excluded) with a better opponent.

That said I'd pick every LW champion over him.

 

i think he wanted the fight to go the distance though he needs the rounds before the burns fight he doesnt need to fight again now.

 

Boxed a bit. Never looked like he really wanted it. Unimpressed and a waste of time. It was simply to get a fight.

At least the other guy came to fight more than your typical guy with such a record.
