I like Tillis' boxing ability, and him surviving Shavers, albeit an old Earnie, says a lot. However, even though I think Tillis could win a tough ten round decision, it wouldn't surprise me if Tony stopped James late.Galento was that tough.

A PRIME James 'Tilly' Tillis was teh BEST Ali-wannabe i ever laid eyes on, when he trained HARD And stayed clean. Tillis's dancin' And dancin' And flurries were bad And fast like a smooth criminal! :mj

Be clear though bro, i do NOT consider Lazza Holmes to be a Ali-wannabe.:bart

Crude unskilled-slugger Tony '2ton (of lard)' Galento would look like a drunkenly confused CAVEMAN stumbling And missing his leaping hooks! :deal

Cowboy takes a WIDE-ASS Decision making a fool out of bubble-butt every round. :bbb

Quick should outbox Two Ton to take this one. However, with Dundee screaming from his corner, I saw Tillis take hook, after hook, after hook from Pinklon Thomas. If James lets Tony unload freely with hooks like that, he's dead.

Another factor to consider is stamina. Oklahoma's finest halted just three opponents beyond round five. (Henry Porter in six, old and fat Ron Stander in seven, and Mark Young in eight, the last for his rebound from Tyson.) He openly conceded he really didn't like it when Weaver pummeled his body in the friendly confines of the Rosemont Horizon to cleanly overtake him in the championship rounds. (Incidentally, James went 25-1 in Illinois, most of those taking place in Chicago of course, and only Weaver got the best of him there.)

Again, with both on their game, I'd expect Tillis to take the decision from Tony, but he has to be both very smart, and box to win. And over the championship distance, with Galento in Lou Nova condition, I wouldn't be betting the paycheck on that.

Tillis when the distance wiht Mike Tyson and beat Earnie Shavers. You think Tony's big punch would flatten Tillis? I don't. No way the fat ass wins this one. Tillis by KO

Tillis takes this on a clear decision. A four point margin at least.
