Will this convince you to subscribe to Boxnation?

not really, must admit its not appealing so far. If it was a 3 month minimum id be tempted but 6 is too long. What happens in late july, aug and early sept when theres barely any major fights???? we still have to pay

 

Already in. Haven't been on forums for a while as couldn't be arsed to read how terrible more boxing on the telly was for punters

 

Already a Subscriber. Signed up on 1st December last year. Hope they continue to improve with more fights, better archive fights, press conferences, weigh ins, 24/7 , HD etc..

I did the same , can't believe any fan of the sport knocking the dedicated boxing channel we have waited years for , i will be getting it again when this period of subscription is over .

 

The hating on this forum is shocking.

I don't know the full issue of why people hate Fwank but the lad has put it all on the line with this channel and they are trying to make it a success.

Give it a year and give it some support. A strong Boxnation is good for boxing fans. We will only be biting our nose off to spite our face if it went under.

 

I like Boxnation, what I don't like is Fwank and his matchmaking, if I was going to cancel, it would be for that reason.

 

Now that i can respect , just not the knocking without reasoning .

 

Reasoning for me

1. I am not a hardcore boxing fan
2. Repeats
3. Not in HD
5. Not currently delivering on the promise
6. Matchmaking Poor
7. Not too bothered about International fights unless involve a Brit
8. Sky Sports show good domestic and now more International fights

If it were to incorporate UFC aswell I'd probably sign up.

 

Its the only thing that gripes me really, I couldn't give a **** about it not being in HD or the background set or whatever, I suppose if Im nitpicking I would like a bit more variety of old fights during the week but its not that big of a deal in all honesty.

 

1. I don't know what hardcore means but if it means i have to pay a tenner a month to watch British and international fights i guess i am hardcore .

2 . I work shift work and weeks away from home i'm grateful for the repeats .

3. HD would be nice i agree but if it ain't available i don't really worry about it as it's not as if i got every channel on HD included in my sky package .

4.well when i signed i can't remember being promised anything so i ain't too disappointed .

5 , Well there has been some poor matchmaking i agree .

6.I enjoy international fights as i'ma fan of the sport worldwide and like to actually see the fights i may comment on .

7 , I pay enough to sky for other things my Mrs and kids enjoy watching and i thought i would give a new channel that was dedicated to the sport of boxing a bit of support rather than give another 20 odd quid to sky .

 

Bill i had a couple of hours to kill last night and caught the Joe Bugner v Frazier Doc and the Doc on Billy Walker , both great entertainment for a fan of the sport .
