We'll see. He's probably right, however, I can't think of a match up against either Klitschko that wouldn't be a mismatch, oh well.

And just to make sure this thread gets a few replies:

It became a mismatch the second it was revealed that Helenius has a torn rotator cuff and couldn't spar or work out for 6 weeks before their fight. It became a travesty when it was revealed that Helenius hurt DelBoy with the only solid R hand he was able to land, the punch in which he broke 2 metacarpals on the top of DelBoy's head.

It's two days away now, so I don't want to see it cancelled, but Vitali should have called the Helenius camp prior to making this fight. Chisora is a tough and gritty kid, and he should go places in the future, but he wasn't able to hurt a one armed fighter, and only won 1;30 seconds of 10 rounds. Leaving enough room for the judges to hand Robbe an undeserved win.

Yeah, I know, excuses, excuses, but Vitali has a phone, and the opportunity to try to get better fights, for instance STIVERNE. Hell, knowing this, Grant. :rofl

C'mon, don't be a dick. You can't take anything away from Chisora there. The skill disparity was ridiculous, Helenius got his ass beat like the C-level boxer he is.

That said, Derek won't do **** vs. Vitali.

Yeah, Lewis also said Haye-Harrison was going to be close and exciting fight. Given that Vitali-Chisora is gotta be worth watching.

I'm not taking anything away from DelBoy. I all but admitted he deserved the win.....but let's be real then about the injured man he beat.

Helenius torn rotator was worse than Vitali's when he quit against Byrd. Byrd aint exactly a banger either. And Robbe injured his BEFORE the fight.

Also, how do you measure skill desparity when one guy is throwing winging hard punches while the other is forced to throw single L hooks to be effective, and those single L hooks and short soft R hands were enough to tease the judges to put those types of scores out.

And I didn't see no ass kicking neither. Helenius took everything DelBoy could throw, and kept throwing himself. :nono

That said....Derek is KOd the minute Vitali takes a notion to it.:tired

A few days ago I read that Lennox said Chisora had a chance...I'm sure Lewis will change his mind again before the fight.

Negative, football players are too fat and overweight by ESB standards.

Lewis just said that rahman would never outpoint him or outbox him and that's why he lost. So I asked him how it felt to be like Rahman against Vitali. No response

For what it's worth....DelBoy showed than an inshape version of himself was a gritty warrior with tons of heart. But like we all know now....it was against a fighter who should have been in recovery from surgery rather than in a ring.:rofl

Well he has faced Vitali so if he thinks Chisora will beat him that easily I'm not going to argue with him.

I wonder if all the good heavyweights were playing American football when Lennox came up and subsequently ruled. If not that is one hell of a shift in just under eight years.
