I also agree with mundine that in a nutshell sbw shouldnt be up against anyone of note yet.
He is still green as far as boxing goes and although he is ripped like a brick shithouse it still doesnt mean anything.
Do you remember calzaghes body, looked like joe average yet he beat world champs.
If sbw had goat tits and a potbelly we would all be saying his matchups are fair.

Im a Raiders supporter dickhead... and yes he was in a great team.
had he played for illawarra, norths or gold coast he may have not been seen in the same light.
Also I believe he was better than mundine when he left for boxing.
    Fittler no ****ing way.

I reckon fittler was overrated at the back part of his career. Career wise, daley anyday over fittler, i agree.

Pull out freddys stats...As a player and leader...

    Legend....

Im not disputing Lozza. He was a great foty player aswell.

But having Mundines name mentioned next to these 2 is a utter insult.

Bloke was far from a complete player...Couldnt tackle to save his life...

    Dayley
    Daylight
Fitler, and Choc. (Creativity, speed, skill Choc owns him, reliablity, defense, consistancy, Fitler, though as been stated, fitler went missing towards end of his career)
    Daylight again

Cliff Lyons was a much greater 5/8 than Fatty Fiddler but is never mentioned as such. **** Fiddler out of the equation he was a nobody

Laurie also had great defense to back up his attacking play, could tackle like a second rower. I was at his last game against the roosters and he attempted a conversion kick from the sideline with no boot, was only about a meter off the posts

Each time i walk past his statue at bruce stadium I salute.

Getting outgunned by Lewis was not embarrassing, it was just the norm. Cliffy had a 1st grade resume to compete with anyone.

It's obvious that I'm a Parra tragic but there's a guy on youtube with a bunch of old Parra videos and Brett Kenny was just sublime. Better than even my childhood memories suggest. I've brought the SOO stats up before and also the fact that Wally Lewis just rated Kenny so highly.

I loved Cliffy too, I think he was unsurpassed as a ball player. That's why he could play until he was 92 because he didn't need to run or break tackles, he just needed a couple of hard running second rowers or centres to run off him and he could win you game after game.

One of the better interviews, and there's some aspects of Mandy I could even like.
But, there's still some things about him which are just plain bollocks.

Why would he say he has Pac or PBF in his sights?
Even his biggest fans know that's complete bollocks.

It's this kind of thing which does so much damage to his credibility.

I just can't get my head around why he would say he is in that league.
