    NICE!!

Can't wait. 2012 is turning out to be a pretty good boxing year!

Nice one Arum (but you are still a douche).

I mean I would still favor Rios if 135 was Gamboa natural weight class. I can not see him win after jumping two weight classes. He is not Pac and Rios is not washed up. He is a monster in his prime. I think that Arum is hoping to build Rios into the next Mexican-American star.

Really intriguing fight, I can't wait for it.

It's quite a safe fight for Arum to make because the loser's stock won't be too badly affected by the result. If Gamboa wins, he can say that the weight jump was too much and that Rios was too big and strong. If Rios loses, he can say that making 135 was too difficult and he was drained. Either way, both of them can maintain some credibility.

I could see it happening if Rios kill himself badly to make weight.

Rios can say all he wants but its not the first time he kill himself to make weight. His body cant take it anymore in which it be his down fall while again advantage will go to gamboa.

Rios-Gamboa set for WBA lightweight belt on April 14

Brandon Rios and Yuriokis Gamboa will meet on April 14 for the WBA lightweight belt once held by Rios.
RING No. 1-rated lightweight Brandon Rios and RING No. 1-rated unbeaten featherweight standout Yuriorkis Gamboa will meet for the WBA's 135-pound belt on April 14 in an HBO-televised clash from the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.
Kevin Iole of Yahoo!Sports reported that Gamboa (21-0, 16 knockouts) will rise in weight in order to face Rios (29-0-1, 22 KOs), who is coming off December's 11th-round technical knockout of England's John Murray at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Managed by Cameron Dunkin, the 25-year-old Rios is trained by Robert Garcia and has won 11 consecutive bouts, 10 of them by knockout, including the past four straight.
"Brandon signed like a week ago, but this morning, what Cameron told me is that they were just waiting for Gamboa to sign his contract," said Garcia.
"All that they were waiting for was Gamboa's signature. Brandon is already training and he's already getting some sparring. It looks like Eloy Perez will be one of our sparring partners."
A former Olympic gold medalist for Cuba, Gamboa is meeting Rios for the crown that Rios lost on the scales before even entering the ring against Murray.
Rios failed to make the contracted 135-pound weight limit after three tries at the pre-fight weigh-in for his bout with Murray, an infraction that cost the Oxnard, Calf., resident his title in accordance with WBA rules.

Gamboa better hope Rios has killed himself to make weight. It is the only advantage he will have in the fight.
