Who else has gone 16 years undefeated in boxing? Name one athlete in any sport that has gone 16 years undefeated in their profession. Name one. Just one.

You can't do it. Ali lost fights. No one has ever been able to beat Floyd. When Floyd retires he'll be looked at as greater than Ali.

Come on man! If Floyd fought the type of competition, I'm pretty sure he would have a lost by now! Their level of comp. is not comparable!:-(

That's all just assumption. None of us know what would have happened if Floyd fought that type of competition. All I'm doing is just giving you the facts.

    Floyd = 42 fights, 0 loses, from 1996-2012, 16 years undefeated.

Ali's achievements just can't compare. It sounds harsh to say it but Ali was actually overrated. He's worshipped more for whatever he did outside the ring. When it comes to pure boxing skill and who contributed more to boxing, of course Floyd comes out on top. 16 years and still not one fighter has found the formula to beat him yet.

    Ali had a loss.
    Ray Robinson had a loss.
    Ray Leonard had a loss.
    Marvin Hagler had a loss.
    Joe Louis had a loss.

All these guys were conquered at one point. Floyd has never been. That's why he's better than all of them.

That's true. You can tell when Ali spoke that he wasn't very intelligent. He could speak a lot, but that was it. I can't understand why Ali is worshipped so much. They always try to force this **** down our throats. Ali was just purely ignorant. And he was a racist, just like Ghandi. They try to make us worship these people though. The only good thing Ali ever did was refuse to not fight in the war. Any one who does that is a legend in my eyes. But the guy was so ignorant. Floyd trash talks to promote the fight and make people hate him. Ali actually believed the bull**** he used to say. Ali was quite easily the most ignorant boxer ever

Calzaghe is a joke. He never fought the best out there. No one really takes his undefeated record seriously. Hopkins was robbed against him anyway.

this ***** is trying hard to justify floyd ducking the best opponents available to him.

so with that logic, floyd should have demanded the lion share against delahioya?

face it, ali fought the best. shared the 50/50 the $5M purse with frazier (which is a record purse that time) and gave the people the fight they want to see. meanwhile floyd has ducked the fight by rejecting the fair 50/50 which ironically they agreed back in 2009.

The reason Ali is Ali is because of what he did outside of the ring. Making a stand on the Vietnam war, making black people feel proud to be black at a time where they got treated like ****, how he was his own man that did what and he want didn't care what anybody thought. It's not that Floyd isn't as good as Ali in the ring but it's as a man what he represents and Floyd doesn't represent ****. All he talks about is money, but never does anything positive with it. I'm sure he gives away a nice amount to positive things but he also throws a ton of it away on nothing. I'm a Floyd fan all day but there should be no question why money and Ali will never be on the same level.

    You are either:
    1. Just a horribly stupid, STUPID person
    or
    2. Doing a great impression of the typical ESB floyd fanboy

    :yep

People gravitate to Ali's personality, boxing fans and non fans. He was funny and charismatic. Opposed to floyd who's angry, immature and treats people like ****. There's nothing attractive about Floyd outside of the ring.

I don't agree with Floyd not representing ****. Floyd represents a lot of positive things. He shows that hard work and dedication can achieve greatness. When you're young and black in Amerikkka you're already a target. They just want to put you in jail or hope you get shot. Floyd worked his ass up from the ****ing dirt. He started out with nothing and rose to become one of the greatest boxers of all time and stayed undefeated for 16 years. Not many people have done that. While most people just waste themselves, go to jail, get high, sell drugs, ect.... Floyd is 5 division world champion. That's an inspiration to others. To say Floyd doesn't represent **** is just false.
