I imagine it's hard for someone to follow orders when he's surrounded by yes men 95% of the time. And I bet when Manny is in the Philippines he's surrounded by them 100% of the time.

Manny is off his game. Drive is no longer there and he lost his humility and politics is taking over as well. JMM clearly trained harder than Pac mentally and it showed. :-(

 

Very true. You can see it with Pacquaio in training, he is still training hard but under his own direction rather than Manny and Ariza directing him.

I think he realized it after the Marquez fight however, as he has dedicated himself to the church afterwards.

Manny's training had nothing to do with him losing to JMM, he lost because JMM was on PEDs like him and is a better boxing technician, and Roach has taken the wildness away from Manny making his attacks more predictable for a boxer like JMM, than before.
