I think stylistically Tiger is near made for Monzon

I can see that, for sure. But LMR is an amazing pure boxer and can bring it for 15 rounds. And I dont think he had a bad chin and had phenomenal stamina, I mean he could even be fitter and better paced than Monzon! And he has the speed and legs to stay away from inside.

Ezzard Charles is a good shout IMO, I think he may lack the experiance but would get off to a great start in a fight similar to Monzon-Napoles. However, if one fighter was ever to KO Monzon I'd put money on Charles being that man.

I don't see LMR troubling Monzon like Grifith at all, I mean Grifith crowded Monzon and cut down the range in the rematch, I think that would be a tough way for LMR to box.

Armstrong vs Williams (cuffed) is a more interesting one.

luf, tough question for me to answer. I saw a faded Armstrong lose to the peak Ray Robinson MSG. And I saw a PRIME Ike Williams almost decapitate Beau Jack in Philly. All this in mind I think that Henry Armstrong at his best
would get inside Ike's punches to win a decision.. Sammy Angott,an inside mauler gave Williams tough bouts, and Sammy Angott was no Henry Armstrong...Tough fight for both men...Cheers L...

I don't see Tiger beating Monzon either.
