The bottom line is that out of the two brothers Haye picked to fight Wlad first and avoided Vitali. Why? Because he knows that his 'one lucky punch' approach won't work on Vitali and there's no way Haye is going to trade fair and square with big Vit. He'll run trying to go the distance and might 'succeed' at it.

    A wide UD by Vitali.

Hopefully sometime this year, Vitali has said he wants to fight again in March

I always favoured Haye's chances against Wlad more than Vitali purely because of their chins, but I can't see Vitali avoiding Hayemakers all night without it having an effect. Vitali now looks old, slow and very cumbersome, I'd have to favour Haye if the fight happened now.

I've said this for awhile. Fits might be a stretch, but certainly far more trouble, although I haven't seen how Vitali looked against Chisora which is apparently bad. The problems at the end of the day for Haye is his activity, and Vitali happens to be far more active than his brother. Yes you can land on him more but he's willing to hit your more often and take a few shots need be (At least is capable of it).

Very true, but Chisora did not have a high level of activity at all, and he was able to give Vitali problems (though he hit the body more than Haye ever will have)

Haye has faster footspeed and handspeed, after this I genuinely think he will be licking his lips

Vitali might have had an injury to his left hand, but what troubled me more in this fight was his lack of footspeed and bad stamina. I definately consider this a close fight now and could very well see Haya pot-shot himself to an UD like he did against Valuev. If he tries to KO Vitali though, I doubt that the night would end well for him as Vitali is still more durable and capable of taking one in order to dish some.

His footspeed has always been so, as has his stamina, the only fight in which he fought at a really high intensity was against Lewis, and he seemed to have nothing left by the end of the 6th.

Seeing Vitali's last few fights tells me Haye would definitely beat him as he is now.

Hope the fight is made and we don't get sidetracked by the Chisora nonsense as he is a level below them.

Makes you wonder how the **** Chisora got the Klitschko fights anyway.Fair play to him he gave it a go but if it wasn't for injury then he would have fought Wlad. Clearly the guy didn't deserve these shots.

Chisora getting in the ring and giving his all and doing better than the last few before him means he deserves a shot imo
