As wrong as it may be, I'm actually not that annoyed with Haye for punching him. Derek's been acting like a right **** the whole weekend, and so when he's charging at Haye yelling "Tell it to my face", then what the **** was he expecting? A hug? Although it's not completely clear who done the glassing (the way Haye's holding the bottle whilst punching, tells me he was not attempting to glass him, and it may not have been a glass bottle - could have been a plastic one), I don't blame Haye for striking first against a guy who's as unpredictable as Chisora is.
TBH said this in another thread, He's stepped to Haye aggressively. Haye's got a beer in hand and he's sensed Chisora's going to start and hit him. He's done more damage to his hand then Chisora. He didn't bottle him way people are talking he's thrown a quick punch with bottle in hand, i don't blame him for throwing cos he had to strike first in that situation. It may of not even broke in his hand, Chisora may of got glassed by the beer .
:deal can't see how Haye is made to be the **** out of all this, he was mouthing off, but that ain't new.
Pretty much this. Was supporting Chisora all weekend forgiving all his ****ish misdemeanour's up and till this incident... he confronted Haye, and Haye gave him some... Still want to see Haye vs Vitali although doubt it will happen now after Vitalis performance. And I believe Haye would be able to put Chisora away.
