Well, you have to bear in mind fighters usually don't live up to the hype they build coming up. Some of them may be exposed when they step up, one or two may turn out be glass jawed, others may duck the champion for years to come (who would have thought Povektin would still be unbeaten but not have fought Wlad?).

Also Boytsov was meant to be at the top of his game a while ago. The way things are going he'll retire without ever fighting anyone in the top 50
