Boente is a scurge on heavyweight boxing. I'm sure Vitali wants the fight, he says over and over. Haye wants the fight. Boente is scared that Vitali loses and he loses money. He's one of the main reasons heavyweight boxing has been uninteresting for years.

Haye doesn't even deserve a shot at Vitali, who maybe should consider retirement.
Haye had his chance against Wlad , and ran scared.
Let Dave fight the semi-human Chisora, and they can spit , talk trash and act like chimps , much to the delight of the "fans".

I'd like to see a Vitali-Haye fight, but if Haye wants it that badly then he should get back in the ring, win some fights and get the #1 contender slot.

    Boente is awful though.

    Absolutely.

Boente is extremely selective about who the Klitschkos fight. Think about two fighters for a second; Povetkin and Valuev. If those two are to fight a Klitschko in the future, who will face who? Does anyone think Povetkin will face Vitali or Valuev will fight Wlad? Of course not. Povetkin/Wlad and Valuev/Vitali were decided upon a long time ago because stylistically, they're the easiest fights for the two brothers. Valuev would give Wlad more problems than he'd give Vitali and Povetkin would be trickier for Vitali than he would Wlad.

Aside from this selective opposition, look at the fights which haven't been made. Considering the fact K2 only really promote two fighters, isn't it a major issue that so many fighters have talked about unfair offers? More boxers have complained about K2 than they have about Top Rank, Golden Boy, Don King etc., even though those promotional stables have 10x more fighters on their books.

K2 are the only promotional company who have failed to make interesting fights happen for years. Ruiz, Valuev, Povetkin, Haye, Rahman, Adamek, Brewster, Briggs, Toney, Tua, Holyfield, Maskaev and numerous other top heavyweights have accused K2 of being unfair. Are we meant to assume this is a coincidence? Is it also a coincidence that fighters like Haye, Brewster, Adamek, Toney and Holyfield fight the absolute best available for years and then when K2 are the opponents, it's hard to make the fights happen?

I blame Boente for all this. The Klitschkos would probably fight anyone bar themselves. I think they're good enough to not be selective about their opposition. However, Boente is pulling the strings and, sadly, he is not doing boxing any good.

A joke that the fighter says one thing in the ring and a few hours later says the opposite. Don't mind seeing Haye-Chisora next though.

Haye tentatively agreed to fight Vitali......he never said anything about accepting the money, from what I remember....MOF, I recall him saying that Vitali lowballed him and that HE was the headliner of the fight.

Should Vitali give Haye 50/50 as he is wanting, or even 60/40?:huh

I think for a guy who hasn't won a comeback fight or gotten a mandate, he should be happy with a 30% split, likely what Vitali offered and Haye dismissed.

As best I can remember, Vitali offered him the fight in December, but later that week, he was quoted as saying that Haye didn't deserve the money he was demanding.

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but the K2 seem a bit more trustworthy than does Haye or Boothe.:rofl
