Haye had been provoked all night:
    1) First the incident at ringside where Boente tried to get him thrown out
    2) Next the cheap shot comments made at press conference towards Haye
    3) The fact that Haye agreed to Vitali's terms and then these comments are made further angers him
    4) Del Boy took many digs at Haye for no reason it was nothing to do with him, it was between Vitali/Haye
    5) Del Boy deserved a beating from Haye bottle or no bottle for opening his loud mouth in the first place
    6) Chisora confronted Haye so he asked for trouble
    7) Haye was clever enough to make sure he did maximum damage with minimum effort which clearly stopped Chisora in his tracks

Haye was probably in the wrong for being there but why shouldn't he be there? It is not as wrong as the comments made towards him. Haye only spoke when he was being degraded. Anyone would speak up for themselves and if you wouldn't then you're either an angel or a *****.

Totally agree, for example if you are in your car and someone stands in front of the car with a gun then you can run him over as self defence as you anticipated imminent danger which was reasonably forseeable to the normal person, it's not as clear cut as who hit who first.

Haye interrupted Chisora's moment...he has no regard for anyone else's feelings or respect. Chisora has done some crazy things this week but at least he tried to back them up with PERFORMANCES....David....

But I'm Black British and I must highlight when a man like Chisora states he will shoot someone....be prepared to hear gunshots....

Wrong. In Uk law self defence and be pre-emptive and what is reasonable force is judged on the circumstances as the attacker honestly believed them to be, even if this unreasonable or mistaken (the glass was extreme but Haye had 241lbs of Chisora in his face who was GOING to assault him) It's like Lewis hitting Tyson - Tyson hadn't assaulted Lewis, nor had he hit anyone (he missed Lewis' bodyguard) but Lewis felt threatened so he clocked him.

LEGALLY you can claim self defence if you hold a reasonable belief that you are about to be assaulted. It can be pre-emptive - there is case law on the subject. Since Chisora has already assaulted both Vitali and Wlad (yes spitting at someone is a physical assault), Haye had every right to pre-emptively defend himself. That is the law. Not taking sides.

I expected more support from Klitschko fans from Haye dropping that *** Chisora with an overhand right

The least you could do is say thank you David for rocking that dickhead

Haye was absolutely right to throw the first punch. Because there is no way on this planet that Chisora wasn't going to hit him when they got face to face. It's just what Chisora does, that's not even debatable.

Haye was just getting in there first.

You're partially right. However if the option exists for you to vacate the area the argument for self defense is abrogated.

The problem was there were simply too many G's in one room. I think there are physical laws against that sort of thing
