Report: Vitali Hurt Hand/Arm In 4th Round.

Yes, he obviously was not able to control Chisora as he does everyone else.............and that is for a reason

His left hand being used so little was a major factor in why he looked as *less than impressive* than he normally does.

-Chisora came to fight and put up an impressive performance, yes

- Vitali didn't use his left hook, or jackhammer jab much at all past the fourth round, as anyone could clearly see. The stats also show this.

-Had Vitali been able to use his left hand, the fight would have been another one sided beating for Vitali. The left would have put Chisora having to reset and keep getting pummelled and frustrated, and stopped, as Arreola and Peter were.

-Vitali made no excuses, and even criticized himself.

Bottom line, a one handed Vitali still beat a game Chisora. But the HAND injury was the reason why it went the distance.
The hand being used so little was a glaring factor in why Vitali didn't look any better than he did, and yet he still won decisively.........that is a fact that some won't acknowledge.

Regardless of what happened to his hand, he still won 9 or 10 of the 12 rounds on all three cards.

No excuses needed for yet another decisive win.

I'm beginning to believe this assessment. Early in the fight, prior to the injury, Vito landed that short L hookercut, followed by a hard R hand over the top of the gaurd.....Chisora buckled, but went almost immediately back into attack mode.
That same combination had Danny Williams flailing around the ring like a drunken Scottmen on a cobblesotne street. I thought for sure it would have been lights out soon after, but alas, Chisora would back off, then come right back after every thudding shot.

Chisora's a G to the fullest. Sure hope he gets in there with a somewhat beatable opponent next. Fighting top 10s in 4 consecutive fights would be rough.:think

To me, Vitali is to be given credit for still winning as he did, with the left almost out of commission entirely.

What a feat of dominance.

 

Does Chisora have such a good cheeen that he automatically breaks anyones hand that lands on him?

 

In one of the round Vitali landed two or three consecutive right hands at will. Then he suddenly stopped.
Lets wait and see.

 

vitali still won 10-2 or 9-3 and it wasnt competitive all chisora did well is move forward he didnt land that many punches besides on vitalis chest or lower body or something like that. still vitali is getting older but you never know he looked not as good against sosnowski too and people were saying the same thing then after that fight he looked good again

 

I wasn't impressed at all. He got outclassed. Kudos for trying, but not really impressing.

 

Klitschko has a lacerated tendon in his shoulder. props to him for fighting on and winning so clearly

 

Hmmm it was from the punch then.I think in the third it might have been Chisora threw a hard right against Vitali's left arm and it seemed to shake him, I assumed he might have just been going for the all out, hit him anywhere, injure him approach, or perhaps aim for his shoulder he had an operation on.

CHisora did keep coming forward and did land some good shots on the one handed Vitali.

I still gotta acknowledge that, even if the injured hand was a factor in why Chisora was able to do so.

 

I beleive the injury was from a punch though (time will tell), it's no different to throwing less because you've been badly hurt to the body, or cut up
