Pathetic and cringeworthy but it makes people interested in a potential fight. As for the "glassing" he did not glass him or go to glass him. He simply threw a punch with the bottle still in his hand. Once he felt he had to throw, he just reacted and didn't think to put the bottle down. The way he did it, he was as likely to cut his hand up as he was Chisora's face so he clearly did not mean to do it. If he had wanted to, he would have stuck the bottle in his face like a jab or smashed it over the top of the head. He threw a punch.
