See the funny side of it but it was violent as well man .They should save that s--t for the ring that's throwing low blows .Threatining to burn shoot and bottling .Not a good way to encourage kids to take up boxing .It's not funny when someone gets f-----g killed .

I think you'll find that the two that got educated in the SPORT of boxing by the brothers are the disgrace.

But no ones been killed? So we're are you going with this? What happened last night night has happened umpteen times in boxing. Personally the drama is only good for the sport. Can't understand why so many here have these naive and romantic feelings towards a sport that is simply the hurt business.

  5. I suppose the difference in Duran's case was that everyone just assumed he was a hard ******* anyway, with the famous tales about him knocking out a horse or beating up half a dozen blokes who made a pass at his bird or whatever.

Haye couldn't do badass in Hollyoaks.... and Delboy wouldn't fare much better.

Still, the whole incident was a laugh and gave us a talking point at the boozer today.

If it had been an isolated incident, ok, but Chisora's utterly mental behaviour really solidified a lot of opinions about how barbaric the sport can be.

There's also an argument that You Tube and the internet have allowed these things to become much more publicised.

Nothing like a tear up man inside the ring but that was too close to criminal .That just encourages violence man .If that was football behaviour like that would be a disgrace .

  8. Football violence always makes me laugh.

Quite often the men involved in such incidents are actually quite well to do, normal blokes, that for some reason just turn into utter spastics come Saturday lunchtime.

A while back in the local rag they printed pictures of people that were causing bother at a Leeds game, and later once a few of them had been caught, it was revealed that a dental surgeon, an architect and a car dealer were all nicked for a string of offences.

Not that you wish to pigeon hole people in either a positive or negative way, but you'd think that those kind of people ought to know better. The stereotypical footy hooligan to me is probably in their 30's, perhaps unemployed, single/divorced and had bother with the law before...... the complete contrast to a successful man in their 40's probably earning the best part of a grand a week.

Boxing violence is different, many people think lots of it is staged, and whatever makes up the rest is just a bunch of sad scumbags that make up an ''entourage''.

Ah, but remember, David doesn't know how big Del's entourage is!

Jesus, that was the most laughable thing of the weekend.

  10. It's a joke really.

Sure, I'd have my mates along, they'd have free tickets and hotels, instead of just following me around all the time calling me ''Champ'' they'd be on the **** trying to get laid.

There is a strange thing in many men - they want people to see them as hard. It's funny because they end up with **** jobs, ugly wives, no prospects, and no real enjoyment of life because they've either got a record or are in and out of the lock-up.

    But it's ok - they're hard.

  12. There's no danger of that with me.

Aside from ''he used to play rugby'' and being thick set that's about it.

I'm more of a talker than a fighter..... many a time I've talked myself out of a probable beating by explaining to someone that they don't want to get arrested just for the sake of giving me a slap.

Never been in a fight in my life. Never needed to. Only guy that ever threatened me had the police round the next day cause he said it in front of 30-odd folk in the bar and someone reported it.

I just don't know how some folk seem to constantly end up in ****.

Chisora went too far by spitting at Wlad and got what he deserved by
fronting Haye. I have got a feeling that he is on a crazy downward spiral
and he will be in jail or dead within two years.

  15. Nor me really to be honest.

A couple of times I've been the target of someone wanting to make a name for themselves in my local - as has pretty much all our group to be fair.

Other times you might bump into someone accidentally and they just take offence....

I was in my local a couple of days after having my eyes zapped, so I was wearing sunnies and it was Christmas time, so some bell-end had to have a go. Just the way it is.
