Wrong style and height for Cotto. Too much energy,probably tire Cotto out and tko him in a latter round.
Cotto is too small to beat Williams. Cotto is a WW really, and PWill is huge. The activity and sheer length of Williams arms keeps Cotto at bay for Williams to take a comftorble UD. Cotto doesn't present southpaw angles to Williams, so he will have real difficulty in landing clean, he'd have to weave inside and then bang hard to the body, and I can't see him doing it on this occasion.
Height means nothing since Williams doesn't fight tall, he'll shrink himself, and his volume punching, it's been shown plenty of times before if you give him some semblance of movement, his workrate drops. You don't stand in front of him, he can't throw 100 punches a round.
Paul has wanted that fight since 2007. Blame Arum for us not having seen it already. Paul is everything Cotto doesn't like in an opponent. Tall, long, workrate, and mostof all... Stamina. Not saying Cotto has **** stamina, but there is no way he's keeping up with 90 punches a round in the later rounds. If he doesn't get Paul outta there in the first 4 or 5, he is toast.
Every Cotto we've seen at 154 (Foreman/Mayorga/Margarito) beats every Williams of Cintron/Lara/Ishida.
I think Paul being hurt last night was over exaggerated. He just has balance issues. It's still true though that his chin isn't wat it used to be though
