    you know what i'm sayin

A frequently used phrase among slack jawed rappers.
(I've never met one that wasn't slack jawed)
Due to the fact that they can't communicate well because of the stupidity of ebonics.

It is primarily used to ask if the recipient of a statement understands what was being spoken. It is necessity to ask this because rappers are to stupid to ask what the speaker meant when they couldn't understand the statement.

I hope williams can get some big fights, would like to see him get some nice paydays before hes out. Would love to see him retire sooner rather then later.

The phrase seems to have died out a bit from it's heights in the late 90's. In those days it wasn't uncommon to hear something as basic as, "I'm going to get something to eat. You know what I'm sayin?"

It was as if everything spoken had a double-entendre. You know what I'm sayin?

There were moments there where he sounded like he was slurring his words. I'm glad he only has a few more names on his mind before retirement. Hopefully he can go out strong with some nice wins. He's a warrior and deserves to enjoy his money, family, and life after boxing.

Well, how articulate do you expect someone who just got punched in his face for thirty-six minutes to be.....know what I'm sayin.

I love how when Jim Grey mentions James Kirkland he chances his tune real quick, but then again, Kirkland isn't a smart move from a monetary perspective, so i can understand that.

Although he's never been the most eloquent speaker, it seems like his speech may be declining.

Which is of course is troublesome when it comes to boxers.
