Yeah, but what if boxing commissions in other countries decide to do the same? It's certainly conceivable. - Esp the USA, 'cause you know how the Americans frown upon unprokoved attacks!

Yeah, Hopkins, Maywether, Tyson and Ali have fought, choked, slapped and/or grappled a few challengers before fights and nothing came of it so I dont think they have much on Chisora. He basically just walked up to see if Haye would say anything face to face. Haye decided to just hit him with a bottle.

I say more good will come out of it if they postpone the fines and punishment and let them fight in the ring first.

    I agree.

The rules should be 6 oz gloves, and 12 oz beers.

Chisora has a history of assault, touched Hayes face, Haye never hit him with a bottle, he knuckled him on the chin

Haye's fist hit Chisora's chest but the bottle hit Chisora on the chin--see how it splayed out his tongue?

More brawls that only led to small fines

....and I can see the bottle punch being a defensive reflex and if he was drunk he may have even forgot that he had it in his hand.

Will be a joke if Haye gets a ban or anything like that.

Cant say the same for Chisora.

I have a severe dislike for Boente myself.

He will see to it that the fans don't get to see a great fight like Vitali vs Haye.

I know its not how things work in a society but really.... is it that big a deal?

A few punches were thrown and there was a dust up, but all this arresting and banning is silly and overboard. It was a scuffle. Big deal.

They had a brawl.... fine them big time and move on.

  13. Booth defends the man who it him in the head with a camera tripod. ****ing idiot. Haye struck first and had to use a weapon and then run away=*****.

It definitely was defensive. Chisora said he was going to slap Haye, walked up to him, took his jacket off and stuck his fist at David's chin. What would you do if you were put in that position? Talk more ****, walk away, or get the first shot in on an escalating situation. That's the most proper context to premeditated war I've ever heard.
